I've always been "writing stuffs" on the Internet. At the age of 11 I made a website with FrontPage about Zelda and I never stopped building stuff since.
I studied computer science at the Haute École Léonard de Vinci in Brussels, then spent about ten years writing actual code: iOS apps first, full stack after that, and a stint as CTO and co-founder of Pootsy, making the world a cleaner place, one house at a time.
Today I'm Head of Engineering & Data at Sortlist. I joined as Engineering Manager and ended up owning engineering and the data team too. In practice that means a team of engineers who ship product, keep the data honest and spend their days arguing politely with AI agents. We shipped Max, an AI sales assistant, in seven weeks, and moved the whole team to working with agents every day.
I still write code whenever nobody is watching. Lately that's mostly Tailwind, a dice-driven sailing race for iPhone, made under my small company Catgrep.
